I went to this nail salon for the first time couple of days ago because its close to my house and i got regular pedicure . I wasnt going to leave any reviews but everytime i look at my feet i get so mad because literally it looks like i did them myself and i even do a better job than this. $50 for this crap seriously!!! Ive never got a pedicure this bad . Will never return to this place.
I've been getting gel nails done for 10+ years before I moved to Alexandria and I ended up going to Bliss Nail thinking that it's the same as Soleil Salon & spa which had much better reviews than Bliss. Ken seemed to not even know how to properly clean/trim cuticles and I had to point out that I think he should trim sides of my nails too. Well, this gel manicure started peeling off within a week. Took 45 minutes just to remove existing gel from my natural nails. It felt like my technician was moving really slow. but she was nice, along with the receptionist. They took my coat to hang it up and offered me something to drink. Whatever products and tools they use are not good. It took 4 rounds of applying the gel removal paste and then using the smallest dremel head to buff off very small sections. They should stick to the more commonly used method of soaking. I haven't had a manicure in a long time but I was tired of ruining my nails at home with my busy life. I came here and really enjoyed it. I had the male nail tech. The atmosphere and his gentle work made me feel serenely relaxed, almost wanted to fall asleep. Felt carefully handled and pampered. Thank you ^_^
