The beginner class at Bliss Glass was great! Lynee did a great job teaching all the steps so that we were safe, did a great job correcting mistakes and was very fun to learn from. Would definitely recommend for anyone thinking about learning how to make stained glass projects.
My daughter and I attended for her birthday. Instructions, supplies, materials, equipment were very organized. Lots of hands on help and the joy shared by instructors made us all better. Really had a fun experience.
She made a difficult craft easier. Great at anticipating learning steps and able to practice before starting our project. We were able to pick out a pattern from a lot of choices with varying levels of difficulty for beginners and were encouraged to select the glass pieces on our own from a huge selection of different colors and hues. She also had a huge selection of different patterns of glass. A very positive experience and making me want to take up the craft in the future!
Lynee’ is a wonderful teacher. Her sense of humor creates a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. If anyone is thinking of making anything stained glass, I would highly recommend her classes. This is what I made today in the intermediate class. Don’t mind the zinc frame looking blotchy as Zinc is very finicky about taking patina. I’ll be painting it black to match the black patina.
My daughter and I went to Bliss Glass over the weekend and had an awesome time! Lanee is funny and her passion for stained glass just radiates. Her assistant, Margaret, was a huge help too! We left with two amazing sun-catchers that we got to make from start to finish! It was so interesting! We learned about the different types of glass, how to cut glass, grind it and then how to solder. We will definitely be back!
