This is an absolutely stellar restaurant in every respect...food, service, ambiance, and menu variety. It was such a pleasure to eat there! What a nice addition to the city of Vermilion!
Stopped at the blind perch for lunch. Ham sandwich and filet burger were very good. However a lot of items on the menu most people would not know what it is with the fancy terms and ingredients . We almost drove by, need a large sign at road and neon lights in window that say "open". I think if the lunch menu were a little more with common type foods the lunch crowd would be good. This place was amazing! We arrived late after traveling and called to see if they would keep the kitchen open. They were very accommodating, and it was well worth the drive. The soups and salad were outstanding. The Walleye was the best we've ever had! Beer selection was top notch. Loved the local sourcing of food and drink. Bartender, Matt, was super friendly and knowledgeable. Would drive from Toledo to eat dinner here! 5 stars!
Out of towners very happy we stopped in. Awesome place with great food!
