Food was awful. Queso fundido was literally CHEESE SOUP... No flavor. The tacos came with wet goopy tortillas. I don't know how long they've been sitting there but they just literally were doughy. The chicken and the taco had good flavor. However, the fish taco did not. It was like a soppy wet piece of breaded fish. My friend loved the ginger beer mule because the ginger beer is homemade. Definitely overhyped this place.
I'm gonna try to be fair. The server was extremely nice and brought the food quickly. The food on the other hand was ... Sad! For lack of better terms. Tortilla was stale, pico was old, the salsa was freezing cold, the shrimp and chicken were clearly not fresh! The guacamole was obviously prepackaged and made fresh. Nothing tasted or looked fresh to be completely honest. Go somewhere else if you want good Mexican food. This place ain't it!
We had such a wonderful experience at Blind Coyote! We came for lunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and everything was fantastic from start to finish. I ordered the spicy chicken Caesar salad, and it was amazing, fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. We also really enjoyed the guacamole, salsa, and chips, and everyone at the table loved their food. The ambiance made the birthday celebration even more enjoyable. Host was rude and even though we walked in early with a reservation, she refused to sit us and sat a group that didn’t have a reservation and walked right in. She didn’t have a name tag and wouldn’t let us sit with our toddler who was hungry.
