I have been a patient of Dr. Blevins for over 11 years. I have Inclusion Body Myositis and she has gone out of her way to learn about this rare disease to improve her care of me. She is personable and caring, and I have always enjoyed seeing her.
I love Dr Blevins, she always listens and seems to actually care if I am doing better. I like that she offers options doesn't just toss meds at you with no explanation and she gives rationale behind which she recommends. I see her for Chronic Migraines. I have seen her NP/PA Ms Banner also and she is also very thorough. The billing dept however, is a complete mess. They get zero stars. The billing is so bad, make sure you read yours. But good luck getting help if its wrong. Dr Blevins is worth the hassle though.
Dr. Blevins has been my neurologist for 10 years and is treating me for chronic, daily migraines. She always listens to my concerns, has a good sense of humor (essential with a doctor), doesn't have a god complex like a lot of doctor, and really shows concern and care for her patients. With her willingness to try different treatments I have been able to go from a migraine almost every single day to going 2-3 weeks between migraines. I can now work, take part in family activities, and more.
I’ve seen Dr. Blevins for 20+ years! I’ve seen a LOT of Neurologists & she is by far, hands down, the BEST Neurologist I have EVER seen! I absolutely LOVE her! Her Gainesville office is easy to access. Parking is ample, w/ plenty of handicap parking. Dr Blevins is a warm, caring & empathetic person. She has a GREAT bedside manner. Made appt with Belvins instead of seeing physician saw a PA. Told me nothing I did not already know. Never called with results of lab. I cancelled my third visit because of lack of care. Would have liked to see a physician.

Excellent comprehensive exam. She is very pleasant and easy to understand. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a diagnosis and treatment of migraines, tremors, Parkinson's and M.S.. I have been seeing her for 10 yrs. and will continue to do so.
I see/saw Dr. Blevins for peripheral Neuropathy and possible seizures due to Traumatic Brain Injury. Not only is she arrogant, but she deals with the "black and white" of medicine. She does not help explore possibilities of what might be causing issues if it is not exactly what the obvious might be. She forgot to put in an order for a scan, twice. 200 pm with Laura Banner. After driving 1.5 hrs I arrived about 2 pm and COULDN'T FIND PARKING. Im a disabled person. By the time I got to to front dest it was like 2:08 and was first told their "policy" wa a 10 minute Grace period. Of couse by then it was 2:11 by their clock so the "policy" changed to a work in for the first 10 minutes if there was a cancel. They were totally unsympathetic for a sick person, in pain.
