When you first step in to Blendo, you may suffer from the mistaken impression that the store has recently been hit by a tornado. Chaotic, vibrant and full of life, the store's every surface is covered by a collection of precariously balanced goodies. Featuring a quirky assortment of vintage, antique and new items, Blendo offers its patrons an eclectic selection of jewellery, home-ware, hats, bags, ceramics, furniture, clothes and much more. Campy, hilarious, bizarre and beautiful are only a few of the words that come to mind... read more

ok for antiques Blendo is a nice antique store, but not my favorite. I find it to be a bit on the small side and hard to shop in. Although there is a lot to look through, it is almost like looking for the diamond in the rough. There is a bit too much clutter and items that have been around for a long time with no one buying them. If you are really into antiques it is worth checking out b/c you will find kitchenware, home accents, and lots of other stuff. The location is pretty good but parking is bad.
great vintage store! – i would always windowshop at this place but for some reason never went in. when i finally did it was quite a surprise! the staff was very helpful and somehow knew where everything was - they also recommended some great restaurants for me to take my parents! since the store has a lot of breakable items, just make sure to leave your large bag with the staff and ask them to reach something you're a little nervous about handling. you definitely have to take your time to look at everything - there are great... read more
What a "WONDERFUL" surprise!! – I visited NYC for two weeks from SF and was informed that Philadelphia was a must see for the Art Museum and the Rodin Museum. This was one of the best side trips I have ever made..So many great things to see and Very friendly people..especially charming were the little shops and restaurants..One shop in particular stand out..Blendo..Amazing Italian designer jewelry for a fair $$.. and the oddest and most unique little objects..I guess you could call them gifts but I'm keeping them all for myse... read more
BEST vintage store in Philly! – This is the wildest find! I love combing thru this menagerie of offerings in a witch's attic setting. Everyday is Halloween @ Blendo! You can find a glittering rubbr ring that flashes for your 4 yr. old or a $100.00 cocktail dress from the 50's, beaded to perfection! I just luv wandering around this Pine St. store. The side walk sale is really fun and available daily! So much fun.
Immature, disrespectful Worker – I have been in this store quite a few times over the years and always had good customer service, as well as found some unique, affordable items. However, the other day I was in there to pick up some last minute items and was treated so horrendously that I will probably never return to the store. I accidentally dropped an item I was purchasing anyway (which by the way no damage was done to it) and a middle aged women with glasses, whom I never seen there before, tyrrated over to me in a huff, ... read more
Sassy vintage boutique that's as fun to dig into as a general store. – In Short It's Antique Row for beginners at Mary Ann Cardellino's divinely cluttered hodgepodge of kitsch and collectibles. A sidewalk assortment of straw sunflowers and Formica tables is just the tip of the iceberg. Stepping through the door means rediscovering your grandma's collection of Easter bonnets, printed linen tablecloths, 1950s martini shakers and art-deco cabinets mixed with new items like tie-dyed onesies, letterpress stationery and grape lip ... read more
Friendly staff, great stuff, huge variety – I totally agree with the previous reviewer. Today I got an awesome blue brocade vintage dress for only $25! I also walked out with a CA tea towel and a fluffy pin for my friend. They have a huge variety of handbags, jewelry and "gift" items including some very cute t's. I was very pleased with how friendly the staff was (helping me put a dress on over my existing clothes) and also to find that they accept credit cards. They also have a bunch of cute household items. I will definite... read more

best of philly – I have lived in Philly for over 20 years and this is by far the most outstanding store there is. It's not that big but they make use of the space amazingly - there is a TON of awesome awesome items - this is the BEST place to go if your buying a gift for someone who 'has everything' - the prices are low too - and the ladies that run it are super friendly. this is a MUST shop kinda place becuase you'll fall in love with it...
