Blazing Needles offers a community gathering place for knitters, crocheters, and fiber artists of all levels and styles. Since 2008 it has been a regular stop for knitting groups, tourists, skiers, Sundance Film Festival goers, and many others. Came to Salt Lake to snowboard, but I could never pass up a good yarn shop. The staff was incredibly friendly and the selection was amazing! I filled my suitcase and somehow made it out with my wallet! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this place. I will be back my next visit with an extra suitcase! :)

Visiting Salt Lake City and decided to check out yarn shops. Blazing Needles is fantastic, lots of great samples and a nice selection of yarn. The sales help were great.

I am just getting back into knitting after a three year hiatus. I was helped by several of the ladies in the store, they were all so helpful and gave me great advice about getting started again. Not only did they help me pick out the right size needles and yarn, but Cynthia introduced me to Ravelry dot com and took the time to explain to me how to use it. Cynthia also found and printed a pattern for me and helped me do the math to customize the pattern for my project. Truly a wonderful experience.
Best island of sanity in the city. Thanks you Blazers! Had a nice visit, knitting by the fire and sampling new yummy yarn.

I took a class last night from Laura. It was a crocheted basket and coasters. Now mind you I am a knitter. Soooo I was a little slow getting the proper technique down. Laura and her assistants stayed by me for most of the class. There were others in the class as well. She helped everyone. We had fun and I learned a new skill. Thanks Laura
