Blazing Needles offers a community gathering place for knitters, crocheters, and fiber artists of all levels and styles. Since 2008 it has been a regular stop for knitting groups, tourists, skiers, Sundance Film Festival goers, and many others. I love this place! They always have all the supplies I need, it’s cozy, and it’s a great place to sit and knit. I also got a beloved new nickname there, so there’s that.

The owner, Cynthia, and her assistant, Whitney, made me feel so welcomed. They both invited me to stay for their knit night. They introduced me to their local knitters and continued to check on me throughout the evening. The shop is beautiful and their selection of yarns is worth the stop alone. I'd be thrilled to call this my LYS.
