All of the staff is wonderful. Dr. Blankenship listens to you and answers any questions you may have. He usually has a scribe to take notes, so his whole attention is on the patient. We are so lucky to have such a great provider right in Anderson!
Total lack of compassion. Egotistical. Doesn't follow through with patients.
He has been seeing our disabled son for the last 3 years. He listens very carefully and always makes sure to include our son in all conversations. He has a scribe to take notes during the visit and I think this is a great way to interact more closely with the patient. Our previous neurologist was a hard act to follow, but we are happy he recommended Dr. Blankenship. All of his office staff is friendly and helpful.
He has no knowledge when it comes to strokes. He tried to give advice without seeing any of the medical records. Was very discouraging.
I cannot praise Dr. Blankenship enough. I had brain surgery three years ago which left me with a myriad of issues. I went to many neurologists and became extremely agitated with their lack of listening and over medicating me. Dr. B was always receptive to hear my issues and to work closely to find the right medications and strengths. I recommend him to anyone needing a neurologist. I say with knowledge and direct experience that he is the best in the area.
