Love this Blank Street! I always get a strawberry shortcake matcha and it’s delicious every single time. Erika and Avery are my favorite, they’re always super friendly and helpful.
My wife and I went in to order a Matcha Latte and a 'cortado,' both with oat milk since my wife is lactose intolerant. After watching them pour regular milk instead of oat milk, we tasted them and asked twice if they had made a mistake. The manager actually laughed at us, saying that 'oat milk is also white,' and refused to offer an alternative. It turned out it was indeed regular milk, and we had to throw both drinks away. Terrible customer service—honestly, some of the worst in the city.
The matcha was quite alright but the service from every single worker there was absolutely horrifying. They’re distracted talking to each other and ignore ALL the customers..
I went in to get a coffee at 7.30 am. The staff member was making coffee etc for people who had pre-ordered. I stood there for 5 mins right in front of her and she neither looked at me, nor said good morning, just completely ignored me. It was SO rude. I dont mind that she was busy and Id have been fine with it if she explained that she had so many orders that it would be a long wait, but I had no way of knowing whether it would be another 5 mins or 30 before she actually acknowledged my presence.
