So the quality of the coffee is actually pretty good but the “rules” of these employees coupled with their severe attitude problems is intolerable. Also the matcha is not good at all. I went to two of these and for one thing they will not mix skim and whole milk. They also will not give you a cortado in a plastic cup (which mind you when I asked for a latte with less milk the counter person suggested I get). I had planned to go to a different shop for my quest to find the best matcha, but after passing 5 people holding Blank Street matcha in the span of 10 minutes, I decided I ought to give it a try. Relatively cheaper than most NY options at around $6, this promised to be a better value buy. Unfortunately, it tasted both bitter and bland, and a little grainy. Quality matcha should not taste like grass. If you're looking for adequate matcha at a reasonable price, stick to Starbucks. No seating in this location.

Literally just milk. Asked for a hint more matcha (it comes in a squeeze bottle) and she said no that this is how it's made... just do yourself a favor and don't

My go to coffee before church on Sundays. Love my stop at Blank before a bit of reflective time.
