So I came in here hoping there was a public bathroom to use and was willing to pay for a coffee for it. I ask the cashier if they had a bathroom and she said yeah. So I bought an iced latte and asked if there was a code on my receipt or anything like that. She then replied that the bathroom isn’t for public use. What a waste of my time and money. Loved this little location! Had a few window seats to eat in, but it's primarily a takeout spot. I don't live in MA, so I was excited to try Blank Street and I was so impressed with my latte and the matcha that my mom ordered. I drank my coffee so fast I wish I had gotten a big size. It was the shaken salted vanilla bean latte with whole milk. Perfect balance and amount of ice. The matcha was a watermelon yuzu lemonade drink and was super good! The baristas were nice and the ambiance was chill. This was an afternoon visit
Blank Street Coffee is a chain of coffeehouses, with this one being located in Boston's Beacon Hill District. The standing area is a decent size, with multiple seating options. The staff are friendly and make the drinks quite quick. We got the Strawberry Matcha. The matcha was a little light on the flavor, and I couldn't really taste the strawberry. Even after shaking it around a bit, it tasted a bit more like milk rather than a strawberry matcha latte. It was alright, but I'd probably have to try it again elsewhere.
