Poor service, placed order, 2 sandwiches and 2 catfish plates @ 5:26 pm. After 20 minuets, went to counter to check on my order it was not ready. Spoke to Ken, he explained that the catfish took time. Shortly after, the sandwiches arrived at the table without the fries. By 5:45 pm fish still not served, as I was preparing to leave they gave me the fish to go.
Got the ribs with mac&cheese and mashed potatoes on the side. Best plate I've had in a long time. Don't even get me started on the beer selection, and just the way they should be in ice.
One of my top favorite barbecue restaurants in San Antonio! Blanco BBQ, has been consistent with setting the expectation of great barbecue in San Antonio, Texas.
Great food! My go-to for family gatherings and Spurs parties!
We each tried something different and there were NO complaints; baked potato w/brisket, ribs, smoked turkey, sausage & kids chicken tenders...all of it was great! The desserts were tasty too ��

The marbled brisket was very tender and had a great smokey flavor. The potato salad reminded me of my mom's. Ribs were tasty and they had plenty of tea! Love the set up.
The food was great, and for a reasonable price. The mixed platter was enough for 2. Very kid friendly. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!
