The ER is never an enjoyable experience, but last night was different. Brought my younger sister in around 5:20 for persistent vomiting and we got checked in right away. They were busier, so it did take about an hour before she was brought back for a room. We were greeted by our nurse, Emma, who is a literal angel on earth. I have been to the ER several times for myself & family at night. Plenty of time for staff to do hair, laugh & goof off. Most of the time Drs were too busy to explain & didn't listen to our symtoms, so misdiagnosed & sent me or my family home with no change. Most nurses were rude, indifferent & too busy to answer call lights. I don't understand how an "EMERGENCY ROOM" can be run this way.
