Not my usual dentist, but I recently had a check up here My regular dentist is off on holidays so I needed to book an appointment elsewhere. I found the staff here to be friendly and I had a relatively easy time scheduling an appointment that was convenient for my work schedule. Dr. Blanchard gave me a thorough check up of my gums and teeth. He offered me some advice about teeth whitening products as well as advice regarding my bothersome halitosis.
Dr Blanchard is a very good dentist. I have been going to Dr. Blanchard for many years With that stated, my recent visit was a very bad experience. When making my appointment I asked if he still carried my dental plan, told yes. Arrived, new staff, led to the exam room. Found the hygienist to be rude. Recently I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning and exam. I submitted my new insurance card , the same dental plan I have been using for years. I was led to the exam room, The hygienist promptly told me that I have Periodontal disease, very RUDELY! Yes, I am aware, as 68 percent of seniors have this condition. Mine is well under control.
