There is no braiding and locing. There is sewing, styling, and ponytails. I love their attention to shampooing and conditioning. They don't rub their fingers tentatively in your hair. They go in and wash your scalp very well. Get all that buildup out. The ladies are also very kind and patient. Tempers are not lost carelessly. Very clean and reasonably priced. Washed my hair so well, after my braids. So well, my scalp was gleaming!! They helped me sort an excellent color to cover my greys. I like the atmosphere especially. I did not feel rushed or out of place.
