Back in Jan 2015 Blako Plumbing charged my mom who is 82 years old and lives by herself, $4500 for the work they did. The owner Blake had my mom write him 2 separate checks, one personal for $2000 and another to the company for $2500. Of course he took the $2000 check directly to the bank and cashed it. Fortunately my mother was able to stop payment on the $2500 check. We had 2 separate independent plumbing companies come out and give us an estimate for the work provided. How do you describe a plumber who can't keep the hot and cold straight? My wife and I cleaned apartments that were "plumbed" by Blako. 48 units. At least half, another plumber had to cut sheetrock to uncross hot and cold water lines. Hot waterunning to a toilet tank will crack the tank, something these morons either didn't know about or didn't care about. Proceed at your own risk. How they still have a licence is beyond me.
