Worst dining experience in my life. The fat woman working the grill was worthless and snotty. Waited 20 minutes for a single burger and they hadn’t even started. Then she gave me a snotty look and I walked out. Will NEVER return.
Recommendedgreen chili's on a burger
My husband and I just stopped in on our way to Amarillo. We drove an hour out of our way from Roswell. We’ve been to Blake’s before and love the green chile cheeseburgers. O’Shun, Jose, & Kelly at the Tucumcari location were amazing and provided us with exceptional customer service. We placed a large order (to take home) and they were friendly and accommodating throughout. Thank you!
The food was good and the green chilie was particularly spicy hot today. I myself don’t like hot chilie but my son does and he was happy. The staff was great. This was our second visit during this trip. I had for the first time the #3 breakfast burrito that has egg, cheese, hash browns, beans and I added mayonnaise with just a small amount of green chilie. It was so good!!
The food was cold.... Dirty store... Needs new Manament..... Won't be back
Was so looking forward to getting a Blake's green chile cheeseburger, driving through New Mexico. It's been a good 27+years since I've had one. I understand they were better than way back when. Order was finally ready, after an unpleasant encounter with shift lead, or whatever the title may be be. She seemed so bothered we were there. Rude to say the least. I grew up eating Blake’s, I’ve NEVER been so disappointed with the service as I was for this visit. I do not mind waiting for good food. That wasn’t the problem. It was the fact that I had to write out my order for the cook because the order taker could not punch it in correctly. This was after I saw them make the 3 orders before mine incorrectly. Outstanding little place that still serves hamburgers the old fashion way - grilled. All the toppings fresh ikie including the jalepeño peppers. When traveling through New Mexico, will make a point in stopp8ng at one of these establishments.
