Very peaceful, safe and quiet place to camp. Bath houses are brand new and very clean. Love riding the bicycles here, and there's so much to do in the surrounding areas. Gorgeous Mobile Bay is right in the background down by the Riverwalk. I could sit here all day.
My third great grandfather Edwin Lewis was first clerk of Baldwin County courthouse when it was located at blakely. I had a great visit and the entire park is kept up in meticulous fashion
Great place to visit with the family. Beautiful hiking and MTB trails. 4 stars because the map they hand out for the trails is not 100% accurate (use Strava or the trailforks app to navigate) and there were a few areas that still need repair. There was evidence of many repairs recently made, so I’m sure they are on schedule to be repaired soon. The RV sites are very nice. Ample parking and maneuvering space, relatively screened from adjacent sites. The park managers do a good job of spacing people out. :)
We only had time for a short visit but liked what we saw. We’ll be back again and spend a little longer.
