I've recommended Blakeley Building Inspections to many of my buyers and I've always been satisfied. They do a great job, they're thorough, and friendly. I've never heard any of my buyer clients offer anything but positive feedback! I highly recommend them.
I had used Blakeley Building Inspection for my home inspections and they not only missed a leaky toilet that had been causing damages to the floor, they also missed a very low insulated attic. The missed toilet was leaking into the floor and eventually caved in my kitchen ceiling Within 1 and a half months of closing on the house. That cost me $3000.00. He was hired to inspect our home for a potential buyer. He tracked mud all over our home. Black footprints were in our bathtubs, on our floors, etc. I understand he needs to check everything out but when it's wet and snowy out take your shoes off or put shoe covers on. That's just common respect and decency for both the sellers as well as the potential buyer who hired him. I would not let him into my home unaccompanied again.
I would not recommend this inspector to anyone. Rude during the inspection and missed a lot of crucial details. Was very unprofessional when we contacted him when our water heater busted and ruined our floors 2 months after buying our first home.
Won't use them for an inspection again.
