I bought a brand new home in Bentwater in 2016. We had an electrical surge which blew out a capacitor and the Carrier a/c began performing inadequately after only 7 years. The previous contractor did not register the unit. Consequently, our warranty was only 5 years as opposed to 10 years and the unit was out of warranty. Absolutely horrible! They were hired to replace a computer board for my AC and all duct work. The duct work was not only not up to code but it leaked! After they final lay after almost 2 years from install came back out they agreed it was really bad and did install number two for all air ducts. Then come to find out it STILL was not up to code and not only that they did not seal it! We even have a vent that was left unattached so you feel cold air blowing into the attic. Our A/C blower went out so we explored recommendation from the Nextdoor AP. I called I thought had the best reviews and was shocked with the pricing (wow !) so I called the next best, Blake’s A/C. Pam was very responsive and got right after it by locating a new blower part and provided a quote to replace the part.
