Blake is great at meeting clients uniquely in their story. He is articulate and compassionate. He is gentle in his guidance and empathic in his listening. Blake has great skills in understanding and helping clients find meaning in their circumstances. Blake is a community and relationship builder. Blake worked with me as an intern at the Men's Resource Center of West Michigan. He provided both individual and group therapy for men. Although he was like many interns in that he was eager to learn and develop himself as a professional, he stands above the rest in his advanced and keen sense of the human struggle, how to wisely help and pace with clients, while saying important insights with great compassion and grace.
