I'm looking for the 1 million stars I would like to give Dr. Blake as he LITERALLY saved my life... How can someone write a review for that? He is incredibly thorough, professional, explained every step in a way I could understand (and I needed a LOT of steps), and has just the perfect bedside manner. The level of care and attention that I received from Dr. Blake was beyond anything I ever expected. Dr. Blake, his office staff and his team of Doctors he assembled for my treatment, surgery and post care was A1-10 Star. I can't say enough how Dr. Blake was straight forward, explained the procedure, risks and recovery. It was alot to take in and he answered all my questions and my fears. Dr. Blake put together an excellent team of Doctors; from anesthesia, urologist, Resident Doctor, including himself to successfully perform my surgery. Dr Kenneth Blake, my surgeon for colon removal and ileostomy reconnection. Wonderful experience, and the lengthy process has made it successful with my Healthcare. Surge one team and staff has been phenomenal with FMLA requirements including FAMLIi for state. Over a 5-month process I truly can say the team and staff have been wonderful!
This review is on behalf of my dad Stephen Nash. "I was an emergent patient of Dr. Blake back in May. I had been brought in by EMS because of increased weakness. Dr. Blake found a large abscess that had formed and had me in the OR the same day to drain it. I didn’t realize how sick I was at the time, and I consider myself lucky that he was able to take care of a serious issue very quickly. My experience with Dr. Blake and his office is mixed. I will start off by saying these are two separate reviews. One for Dr. Blake and the other his practice staff… Dr. Blake did a good job regarding my own care and medical condition. He was concise with the information on my surgery. Follow ups went well and he listed and addressed any concerns I had. Overall, I would say my experience with him was decent.
