I went to Dr. Blake Frieden while in between jobs using the state’s women’s health program for an annual exam. This was also during a really bad endometriosis episode, but I was pain free at the time of my appointment. When he arrived, he explained that the state’s program only provided an exam at no cost. I assured him that I was well aware, and that I was only there for an exam anyway since I was between jobs.
