The er staff treats all middle aged people like junkies! There is no bedside manner. Everyone is rude and I have left in more pain then I started with after being left in a bed for over 4 hrs! Total stay was 8 hrs! I would not send my worse enemy to to SMH. They are awful and condescending with no respect for human kind. Wow just wow😭😭😭
RecommendedI’ve been to three other cancer centers and Slidell Memorial Hospital regional Cancer Center is the most efficient by far! They are very nice people who really care for patients like their own family! I wish I would’ve went there from the beginning but at least now I know the difference between decent good and great!!! The whole staff is amazing and you can tell they all really care for their patients you can’t ask for anything more. They even make getting chemo pleasant! ❤️😊❤️
Recommendednice hospital SMH that our taxes pay for believe me I voted to keep slidell memorial slidell's hospital and to pay the taxes so no high dollar corporations could buy it. Sad to see that Ochsner is now trying to "partner" with smh. only to one day take it over . personally I do not like ochsner it is socialized medical at its finest and want nothing to do with them . so please help our SMH stay with us and not with Ochsner.

RecommendedThey are an awesome team. I recently had a mammogram that was suspicious first time ever. They are on top of things. Within a two week period I have had 2 mammos, ultrasound and biopsy and met with surgeon just in case. I cannot stress enough to stay on top of having mammos done every year starting at age 40 or sooner if your doctor feels it is necessary
