This is a very old building and everything feels dirty. Huge cockroaches the size of my palm, mold everywhere that made me sick, and they just paint over it instead of fixing anything. The lobby, entrances, and laundry rooms are filthy. People are always smoking weed right outside the front door. Fire alarms go off all the time for no reason — I had at least seven false alarms in a year. The whole place is neglected and not worth what they charge. Don’t waste your money here.

To any considering the Blairs, it is a good looking residency commercially but it's run poorly. Specifically, the management at Blair house is comical. They attempt to look professional but come to work and don't enforce rules of the lease. They give themselves an unserious reputation by being bias in who they let break the lease rules. They cease to remember that there is already a stereotype on specific groups of people then they get placed in a position of management and fit the stereotype. I have lived at Blair House for ~3.5 years and this my honest review of the place: Pros: 1. The actual staff are very friendly and greet you by name every morning if they see you. 2. I have never had a package stolen here. There package management system is secure. Cons: 1. The fire alarm goes off in this building AT LEAST 5 times a year. 2. Not having in-unit laundry is very inconvenient. Thought it wouldn't be a big deal, but it's very annoying. 3. The building is very old (built 1970?). I have been living in this complex for only 16 days. I can tell you don’t decide to move here 1- in one sunny day we decided to use AC after arriving home from work. We were surprised to find both bedroom ACs are not working. And the AC in the reception of the apartment never reached the set point. It remained at 81. We contacted the concierge to ask for maintenance and they did. We waited for the maintenance till midnight and no one shown up. This is the first time to sleep in an apartment with temperature 81.
