We couldn’t have been happier. Fred and the team showed both incredible vision to maximise the use of our space and high quality technical trade expertise to custom make and install the kitchen, move the plumbing and basin, increase the ceiling, move walls and doors, redesign laundry and replace floorboards! We are incredibly happy with the outdoor kitchen that was installed by Fred and the Blackwood team. The materials are absolute quality and the finish seamless. On top of this, Fred was an absolute pleasure to deal with, responsive and always available to answer questions and provide advice. We will be sure to use Fred and his team again for our next building job and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting some work done to their house.
Fred, Matt and the team have done a number of jobs for us over the last few years, including the complete renovation of a bathroom, laundry and toilet, replacement of a roof and guttering, and extensive refurbishment of external woodwork for a 100-year-old house. They have always provided a highly professional level of service, expert and creative advice and excellent workmanship, going above and beyond stated requirements to ensure we were happy with the result. Very happy to recommend their services.
I've done lots of joinery and carpentry work over the years and found Fred and Matt at Blackwood some of the best. Beautiful work and a very quick turnaround. Additionally, whilst my job was small, it was very bespoke and needed a lot of attention to detail, product knowledge and amendments as we worked out the plans. Fred was very patient and understanding and it was a pleasure to work with him. I have no hesitation recommending their work.
Very kind and friendly team of 2 attended and sorted all the problems that needed fixing in our kitchen - nothing seemed too much trouble & quality of workmanship is excellent- would highly recommend them
