The room in the carriage house was cold, even after hours of the mini split set at 80 and being out to dinner most of the evening when we arrived back to the room it seemed that it was not any warmer. Other than that just ok. Room was moderately clean, breakfast was adequate.
I had the misfortune of speaking with the events coordinator, Jennifer - on hosting my baby shower. I had questions on accommodations and pricing, and was met with a very hostile and rude demeanor. She suggested this wasn’t the right space for me solely based off the questions I had. Anyone would have questions on a special day like their baby shower right? If you’re looking to host an event here, wedding or otherwise, I’d really reconsider.
Let me first preface by reassuring that we DID NOT have a BAD stay by any means, and what little intersection we did have with the staff was very pleasant. The staff actually was probably the location's high point! However.. The whole house/experience was a lot like your our first impression. Beautiful historic home renovated into bed and breakfast. Walkable to all of downtown Coeur d'Alene. Easy access to town parks 🥾, marina ⛵, and 🏖️ beach. Rooms feature antique clawfoot tubs most with shower. There are multiple fireplaces, a pool table, a media room downstairs with sauna and shuffleboard.
