A lot has changed since we first opened in 1959, but time can't touch our soulful Southern charm. We're located right on the St. Johns River, where guests can indulge in bites and sips while watching the boats tie up at our dock. And from Williams Landing, our relaxing rooftop lounge, the view of the Astor Bridge will take your breath away. Our menu is full of masterfully cooked Southern classics, like crab legs, baked potatoes, and USDA choice steaks. Come by on the weekends and watch local bands transform the Blackwater In... read more

Cajun Grouper sandwich, pretty darn good!! View wasn't bad either. Every time I get close, I stop for refreshment!!
Cindy was great. I love the gater bites and cheese curds
I had the Petite Fish filet (no bones), cole slaw, french fries and a Pina colada. Very good. Fish and fries were hot and crisp. I do not like all cole slaws but I can add this one to my list of do's. Pina Colada was very refreshing after being on the water all day.
Excellent food and service. Huge portions and perfect seasonings.
We had a late lunch on a Tuesday and dined in the upstairs bar and grill: beautiful views of the river. Food was satisfying, beer was cold!
Very fresh fish dinners. No taste of "old oil " fried fish, no "fishy taste ", waitress' know their customers and menu's way of preparation. In other words: what spices, seasonings are used in cooking. I am allergic to many foods and seasonings. I can order a dinner and enjoy it, not having to worry that I will have a reaction.
Just had lunch there on our way to beach - had catfish basket with onion rings and hush puppy - it was delicious and had enough left over for our supper of the catfish -George had fries instead of onion rings and they were good too definitely will be back - our waitress was very friendly and efficient
We loved it, we only waited 5 minutes for a window table. The filet mignon was fabulous..our niece loved her crab legs. Hubby had roast pork medallions ,he said they were very tasty..very nice salad bar And they enjiyed the clam chowder..we had the smoked fish spread , so good.....and we shared the fried mushrooms ,so good perfectly breaded and fried..everything was delicious, and were were very full I had to take half my steak home..waitress very helpful and gracious....we are definitely going back..next weekend
Favorite place! Drinks upstairs first on the deck outside, then downstairs for dinner. Always great staff, service and food!
