Worth the side trip off I 10! Beautiful historic building with fabulous staff! The lunch was excellent, very fresh and made to order! I highly recommend Blackwater a Bistro for lunch or dinner!

Great find! Extensive menu options which also include Mediterranean (Hummus & Pita) & Filipino choices (Lumpia)... both were excellent. Delicious homemade soup (Roasted Red Pepper) & fabulous salads. Josh our Server was friendly & attentive!!
The food is so delicious. The portion sizes are well worth the prices. Not to mention the ambience. Love, Love, Love it. Erin was also wonderful. Very thoughtful and attentive.
Third time there. Seriously don't waste your time.. Food is mediocre if you can get the right dish you ordered within an hour or so.. Wasn't crowded.. I seriously hate leaving bad reviews.. But someone needs to step it up here. PLEASE
My favorite meal is an order of lympia and the Southern Ranch Wedge. The orange cake is a yummy-take-home-for-later snack. Service is great and the atmosphere is fun!
