I lived in Blackthorn from 05/07-08/08 and I must say my overall experience was extremely pleasant. I stayed in a 1bdrm 1 bath on the 2nd floor alone and never felt any insecurities about living there alone. When I moved in the complex was under different management and two very sweet ladies worked in the office. They were always helpful. The apertments at Blackthorn appear to be a nice place to live once first visiting but once youve lived there for a while you start to realize it was a mistake. The apartments are spacious but the walls and floors are paper thin. The tenants are allowed to leave trash everywhere on the property. The property has a pool that the tenants cannot even get a chance to swim in because the landlord, Casey Griffin, allows people who dont even live there hog the pool.
