I gave it one star because it won't let me give less. My wife and I walk in here to eat, I'm mexican and my wife is african american. The guy at the front seats up with our menu's and says your waitress will be with you shortly. Been sitting 5 minutes still not waited on yet. 3 waitresses with only 3 other customers in restaurant, all 3 waitresses walk by us a couple of times and just look at us and continue to pass us by. Nice atmosphere and good staff. Food was delicious as well. All in all a great place. I got to talk with the manager as he was bussing tables for his waitstaff and helping them get the food out. You don't see that often and I will say it makes the difference when you see leaders leading. Instead of trying to push his staff past their capacity he stepped in and helped them and that made it better for everyone. Fantastic stuff. Would recommend to anyone. Very satisfied. Great food but our entire meal was ruined by 5 or so huge cockroaches coming down the wall and falling into the floor. I know we live in the south and they are unavoidable but I think they need to spray for them more.
Been there couple times no problem at all. Good delicious food (Breakfast) nice people (staff). Nice atmosphere, outdoor patio perfect for family or friends to have breakfast.

First visited Blackstone's as a tourist years ago, now I'm blessed to be a local who continues to love eating here. Best Cajun shrimp and grits anywhere. Come and enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the history that lines the walls of Blackstone's.

Took 20 minutes to get table we ordered over an hour later they said they forgot to put in the order. Then took 20 more minutes for food. I get the bill and they had things on it I did not order. I paid the bill after they removed items I did not get. You would have thought a business would have taken something off the bill but NO. Will not be going back or would recommend it to anyone.
