About this business
BlackStones Bar and Grill opened in 2011 after Owner/Chef Peter Giller, Sr. decided to close up shop at his Pietro's restaurant on the other side of town. The opportunity of owning his own restaurant and not renting space, plus gaining a liquor license proved to be too tempting. So he and his family opened up BlackStones Bar and Grill and brought over much of the famed Pietro's menu and customers followed.

Best place in the area! Food is great. Peter is great!!
First time here and we enjoyed it. The food was delicious, our waitress was wonderful and on point, and the chef came out to greet us. We would definitely go back but not sure if I’d bring my daughter or family. The bartender was loud using vulgar language and my daughter (7 years old) wanted to know why she was speaking in that manner (very loud). I understand you’re working the bar but be mindful of others in the restaurant, and have respect for self & others in the restaurant area.
If I could give a no star review I would! We read many reviews and it seemed like a great place to try. My husband and I get nachos everywhere we go. They were the worst nachos we have ever had..the chips were all crushed like they came from the bottom of a bag and the cheese was rock hard. The burger I had was basically loose ground beef on a bun with again hard cheese...I have never had a burger fall apart into pieces as I ate it. My husband also got a burger except his had mushrooms. This place is HORRIBLE!! Unfriendly staff and food is TERRIBLE!
The owner was also the cook, bartender, server, and bus boy. We had 3 different servers, and ordered Buffalo chicken pizza (since they were "out of" wings...) They couldn't even cut the pizza in 8 slices, it was a big blob of hot sauce and full pieces of chicken. The staff seemed so overwhelmed when there was legitimately 4 other tables in there. They need to improve a lot things, but I would start with improving the way they present their food at least....
Extensive menus provide excellent dishes with something for everyone. But, it's the intangibles, like owner Peter Giller greeting his guests and remembering them and the friendliness of. bar tenders and wait staffthat make this restaurant a truly special neighborhood place!
