Troy and the Blackrock Slate Team are top-notch professionals. It is extremely difficult to find a trustworthy roofing company to do difficult roof repair and replacement in the North Country. Troy's communication and knowledge were exactly what I needed. Much appreciation for these craftsmen.

Installed 4 skylights, which leaked from day 1. After multiple attempts to reflash them, they stopped leaking for a year, but are back to leaking. A different Velux certified installer indicated that the wrong flashing kits were used in the install and that the skylights were glued to the framing kits, which invalidated any warranty. So three years after install, the skylights need to be replaced completely. Troy Davis is a delight to work with! He is straightforward and knowledgeable, does what he says he'll do, when he says he'll do it. He's efficient, fast, and reasonable. In addition, he's a very nice person; it's a pleasure to know him and deal with him. I highly recommend Troy Davis and Blackrock Slate!
