RecommendedGreat pet food store and groomers. We've been going to Black Paw for years. They have always been our trusted purveyors of great treats and food. Black Paw's excellent groomers have done great job for us in both grooming and bathing our dogs.
The recent crazy cold temperatures and resulting ice build up led to intense salting of the sidewalks and roads near my home. My poor border collie, Snip, was having a hard time enjoying walks because her feet were getting frozen, so I decided to invest in a pair of dog booties to protect her feet. Black Paw Dog training was a fantastic investment for our dog, and our family. We have a very excitable and anxious 5 year old Wheaten Terrier. When we moved, this translated to some incidents with other dogs, leading us to pursue an intensive training for our dog. After a lot of research, we went with this program, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Cat groomer was the best we've ever had in our cat's 7 years of life! We couldn't believe the difference! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!!!!!
My little pups had a horrible experience at another groomer that left one of my dogs with extreme trauma to have his face even touched. We were very anxious to take them in today for a grooming appointment but BlackPaw was AMAZING! They really cared for my two babies to try and ease their fears and get them comfortable with grooming again. They looked absolutely adorable when I picked them up and the girls were all so kind. Definitely recommend and will be coming back! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
We love BlackPaw! Bernadette is a wonderful person and a fantastic trainer. She gave us such a great puppy start with our boy Axel. A positive foundation that has shaped his whole life! Bernadette trains with a calm, positive approach that builds confidence in the dogs and owners alike. We highly recommend BlackPaw for starting young pups, older tune up training needs, and serious behavior problems.

BlackPaw is a God send! I dropped Ody off a little wild man. He was dog aggressive, pulled on leash, didn’t listen, play bit, wouldn’t recall and didn’t settle. After two weeks in BlackPaw’s boarding training program Ody has passed a canine good citizen exam, a therapy animal exam and a service exam! We are set to begin our therapy team shifts in the new year! Thank you Bernadette and everyone at BlackPaw for changing our lives so we can help others. ❤️
