Caution ver a 2 year period we took several different vehicles to this place--initially all seemed OK--The last 2 times were horrible--It took them 3 working days to diagnose a faulty ECM and offer an estimate of over $2000 to repair--We took it elsewhere and found out that the actual problem was a faulty control valve--which cost $156 from the dealer--the tech at the other place performed the diagnostic in 45 minutes while we watched--and located this problem without prompting from anyone--We replaced the small valve with a... read more
Great Experience I read previous reviews about Blackmon's while deciding where to take my truck. I was convinced to take it there and was greatly impressed by Paul Blackmon's honesty when telling me what was wrong with my car. He presented me with a quote for the repairs, which were much lower than I had anticipated. The work was done within a couple of hours and I had my truck back within 3 hours of taking it in. Blackmon's Garage - the Way it Should Be I moved to San Antonio two years ago and had no idea where to take my cars, except the dealer.
GREAT WORK Drove my 1991 300ZX TT about 65 miles to have Blackman's work on a sick engine. I was told by another garage, that my problem was serious due to low compression. Paul told me over the phone, that is is most likely the injectors. Paul was correct and for about 1/3 the first estimate, I now have an engine running like new. Will definitely bring my Z back to Paul.
Blackmon's Garage Inc. is excellent for diesel repair work! Blackmon's Garage has always done a great job on my F350 V8 PowerStroke and my 1985 E350 Club Wgn XLT 6.9L. They have done the fuel injection, the oil lines, radiator, transmission, and other repairs to my vehicles.

One of the very best repair facilities in San Antonio happens to be Blackmon's Garage, 11231 West Ave, San Antonio, TX 78213 (210) 341-2391.Several years ago they installed a Jasper reconditioned engine in my 1989 Ford Bronco (5-litre engine) and did a superb job in the process. I can personally vouch for the honesty and integrity of the people at Blackmon's Garage and if you happen to contact them, tell "Paul" that Mr. Neff said so!
