My remodel consisted of detailed inside work including dry wall repair, architectural wall detail, painting, carpet replacement, and patio door replacement. The construction team was comprised of experienced artisans and the work was quality. If you are looking for cheap than this may not be your company but if you are looking for quality work at a reasonable price than I highly recommend Black Hawk Construction.

Absolutely do not count on Rick & his Blackhawk crew to deliver what he contractually promised. I continue to have gutter leaks and gutters & downspouts that were not not engineered to handle the flow of rain water from my roof resulting in water flowing down the side of the my house and subsequently leaving water in my basement in this area. In order to rectify my problem, Rick required an additional payment of $6,750 to install a single additional downspout. Poor installation... poor problem resolution... poor business.

Biggest mistake I ever made! Was hired to begin project in August and did not get started until mid October. Paid what was asked for half down. Contractor kept asking for more and I give him about three quarters.. Agreement was half down and balance when Job was complete. Contractor asked for more and I said no. Told him to finish the job and he would get his money. He guit that day without completing agreement and pulled his workers! Had to hire different business to complete work. Horrible contractor to work with.no call no show multiple times. **** Will quit returning phone calls and emails in the middle of a job just because he feels like it. Doesn't follow through with any of his work. Call ***** ***************************** BUILDERS LLC instead ************. Talk to ***. they do great work, and are a professional company.

Blackhawk contractor quit the job contracted in November but took full payment. The work was not completed. Over $3100 that was paid and never finished! Rick, the owner, would not answer our calls and when he did he was very hostile. Would not recommend him to anyone.<br /> <br /> <br />

Signed a contract for pressure washing and staining my deck, three weeks later still no response from anybody with this company. My deposit check of $1400.00 was cashed within three days. I would not recommend this company for any work.

November 2018. I contacted the owner by email, requesting a new roof adding that I needed it done as soon as possible. Rick stopped by the next day and he submitted a very fair estimate the following day. Within one week, I got a call from Rick saying the roofing crew would be at my home the next day. The roofing crew arrived early Wednesday morning and immediately started to work. I recently hired Rick - Blackhawk Contractors for a new roof at my cabin by the WI river. He was very helpful in selecting a color scheme and completed the work within the time frame he gave me. I went up to look it over before making the final payment and I was very happy with it. It looks great and they did a great job on clean up. Tony
