RecommendedMy mom has been having issues with her propane for almost a week. The heat and air company came out late Friday night to replace a part and then stated the issue was with the propane company. I figured it was a long shot because Blackburn Propane Service is usually closed on the weekends but I messaged them to see if they could help because she is without heat and it’s winter! Blackburn propane had friendly and dependable staff!!
My best friends house burned to the ground and they lost everything ! She called Blackburn’s to ask if she could get a refund on two full tanks of propane and was told they’d not be able to help her without a charging her more and no refund could be given . When Luke Brothers owned this , they had a heart . She then tried to donate the gas to a needy person and they told them they’d charge her $200 to do that . My family did business with Luke Brothers. They were fine people. I'm sorry to say my experience with Blackburn's is not the same. My family home burned to the ground. I'm cleaning the property and I called to ask about 200 gallons of propane sitting in my tanks. Mr Darren Blackburn told me absolutely NO REFUNDS. I thought about it and decided to donate it to a needy, disabled elderly couple down the road. I called to ask about a transfer. I was told, the price would be the same as a new order.
