One of the most well-known restaurants on the Island, Blackbeards serves a diverse clientele, and for that reason it can get very busy during the tourism/spring break season. The menu contains a tempting mix of drinks (Strawberry Daiquiri, Rum Punch), sandwiches (Yellowfin Tuna, The Pearl - a fried oyster po' boy) and other seafood dishes (Ginger Teriyaki Tuna Steak, Stuffed Shrimp). Make sure to get Cheese Sticks with... well... everything! The restaurant opens at 11:30a everyday.

I loved this place. My family and I went party of 14 and we got sat in 25 minutes. Amazing food and reasonable prices. Onion rings are HUGE loved the crab cakes. Definitely will go here again when we come back to South Padre.
We came from Mercedes just to eat at Blackbeards, so that should tell you how much we love it. Best seafood in the valley.

Maybe because it was getting ready to close,but chicken fried steak was to over done
