Housed in one of the oldest buildings in the area, some people believe Blackbeard's to be haunted. If ghosts don't appeal to you, come for the mini-Rock 'n Roll museum housed within the restaurant. Blackbeard's Own is on my top ten list of awesome burgers!
We spent over $50 for two adults and a 5yo. All of us were still hungry after. The quality was what you could've gotten from a chain restaurant, maybe a little lower. We weren't impressed.

Our family vacations in Port A every year & every year we make it a date to dine @ Blackbeards on the Beach the night before heading home. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks & the live music is awesome!! The staff is so friendly I highly recommend it!!
Loved the grilled shrimp tacos with baja sauce!
The steak is amazing and the staff is super friendly and very attentive to your needs. I have an autistic daughter who fell in love with the popcorn shrimp and he waitress made sure she had a box of them to go! We will be returning!
