Overall, Blackbeard's was fine. My only disappointment was my order of blackened Red Fish. For nearly $20, it should have been perfectly cooked. Anyone who knows the basics of cooking fish realizes that over-cooking is the absolute worst thing you can do to a delicate filet. This is exactly what happened to mine. Additionally, I brought this issue to the attention of our server, but it fell on deaf ears. Aside of this, we had fried items that were just fine. The service and food was good. Very tasty fried shrimp and coleslaw. I recommend the Bloody Mary. Yum.

Took our son there for his 21st BD , everyone was so nice and the gentleman who was singing graciously had the room sing Happy Birthday . Excellent food , however need to get mozzarella sticks as an appetizer on the menu
Have gone here for probably 25-30 years when I was in Corpus. They had some of the best fried shrimp I'd eaten. Another thing I always liked there was the cold boiled shrimp. I got both on this visit. The fried shrimp was good, but didn't seem quite the same. The boiled shrimp was not good at all. Don't know if they changed their boil mix or what, but I was very disappointed. May, or may not, give them another chance next time I'm down there...........
Love the food love the people love the place. What else is there to say.
Don't get me wrong, I love the place and will go back, but my advice is this : If you have a party of 5, please don't wait until all of the orders are ready to serve at the same time because the plates waiting can cool off, and cold food sucks. I took some people out last night and two of them returned their orders to warm up, but y'all just remade everytbing, which was awesome.
They treated my family awesome! They sat us down right next to the musician and he put on a great show for us! Serenading us with his guitar and mellow jams! The fried oysters were a little over seasoned but besides that it was great!!� O! And the head Coach from Callalen was there and he greeted us and said he wanted my 12 yr old son to go play football with them! It was a fun experience!� will b back soon!
