Housed in one of the oldest buildings in the area, some people believe Blackbeard's to be haunted. If ghosts don't appeal to you, come for the mini-Rock 'n Roll museum housed within the restaurant. My first time trying it out! The fish tacos were amazing! A little disappointed in the fact majority of our groups plates consisted of pinto beans,and they were far from being done,literally were still hard to chew,and couldn't catch our waiter fast enough to inform...Main entree and dessert was Awesome though!
The service was good, our waiter came back to check on us and was sure to refill our drinks. The food was a hit and miss. We had the seafood queso and the loaded potatoes, and both were very tasty. The burgers, fries, and fried shrimp were great and on point, but my steak sandwich was a bit bland and really tough, and the shrimp alfredo needed some real work! The sauce was tasteless and the pasta was undercooked. The prices were decent and not outrageous. We would go back again and definitely give it another try.
Not as good as it use to be. There has been a change over the last year and it has not been for the better. We have always looked forward to eating at Blackbeard's on our bi-annual trips to the coast but after the last 2 tries not sure if we will return.
Extremely happy with not just the food but outstanding service. Looking forward to the next trip to Corpus Christi just so we can stop in and eat.

Good Food! Enjoyed going there on Saturday. No problem a all.
Overcrowded and slow. They try to cram too many tables into the joint it makes it hard to walk around. The waitress was friendly enough once she showed up, but she walked away before taking our full order. Two of us ordered the swordfish (one grilled, one blackened). Both managed to be over cooked and bland, but the blackened had no flavor at all.
Everything was excellent the 2 times we've eaten here , friendly staff, fresh hot food, and not expensive
Good food, terrible service! People showing up 30-40 min after us, getting their food and ticket before we even got ours! Waiter was sweet but even knew they did wrong stating, "I understand if you guys don't come back again, I wouldn't!"
