Our first visit. .we had prime rib and lobster. .not one complaint. .server was attentive and super friendly. ..
Food was great. Took my aunt there for her early birthday dinner, she enjoyed it. My 2 granddaughters loved their meals as well. Only problem was the atmosphere and smell of the restaurant. Very crowed a lot of older individuals due to the early bird specials which really aren't specials because the prices were the same on the regular menu. The business needs to renovate or somehow update the inside and out. remains the same as 30 yrs ago when I ate there on a regular basis, my boyfriend was a cook there at the time.

Starts with an excellent salad bar, a bucket of delicious rolls and two cinnamon rolls for dessert or to take home and the entrees are excellent. I had the best fish sandwich for lunch in Blackbeard's and dinner is always awesome. Our favorite restaurant!
The food is good. Service was good. The Manhattan fish chowder is pretty good. The salad bar is small but you don't need a lot of selections. Plus with your bucket with dinner rolls there are cinnamon rolls hiding at the bottom.
We are from Chicago and visit relatives in the area frequently. They recommend Blackbeards for the best prime rib in the area. They are absolutely right!! Staff is cordial, accurate with our order and very attentive! See you in the summer, Blackbeards!!!
