Black Trumpet is sooooo good. The Black Trumpet has food with an amazing taste! I have been here a couple times for special occasions and the food hits the spot everytime. The restaurant is in charming downtown Portsmouth and has a very cozy feel inside. The food just seems to melt in your mouth. If you are looking for a nice dinner this is the place.
RecommendedI have eaten their food at events and I have their cookbook but never eaten at the restaurant until last night. Cozy table. Delicious meal. Great service! I look forward to returning again.

Beyond the beef filet, I'm not entirely sure what I ate, but it was perfect and delicious and beautifully plated. I really enjoyed trying new things and our waitress was awesome. I would definitely recommend this spot for creative and gourmet cuisine, and we will definitely be back. 🙂❤

very nice place and wonderful food
Came off the river late called for reservation for drinks. When we got there we realized the temptation to try a small amount of delicious food. Server Mellissa had a nice outside table ready for us. We felt like we were in Europe again. Very nice evening thank you so much. We will be back for full course ❤️
