Meet our high-energy, friendly, genuine racing sled dogs in a beautiful setting. Winter tours are private and allow you to try driving a dog sled! RecommendedUpon driving onto the property, Brett and I were met by a frenzy of excited dogs. What a welcome!!! Amazing experience! Fun and educational tour
This experience was awesome—Jeff and KattiJo are so knowledgeable and we learned so much from this tour! It was even more fun hanging out with their 55 fur babies. I’m definitely a new Iditarod fan & look forward to watching the team next year!! 10/10 recommend, you won’t be disappointed!
What a great experience on our visit to Alaska. For my niece’s birthday grandma treated us to visit Jeff and KattiJo and have an amazing dog sledding experience. We learned so much from them about raising dogs, preparing a sled team, and the Iditarod. My mom followed the Iditarod this year and enjoyed it so much she made s sponsoring one of their puppies. The kids enjoyed playing with the puppies too. Great experience it was very hands on and I would recommend to everyone.
Such a fun and educational experience! I grew up following the Iditarod every year and loved watching the race! I didn’t quite understand all the preparation leading up to it, to be honest, until last night. These dogs are quite the athletes and the owners do an amazing job making sure they are on track throughout the year to meet their goals! We loved being able to interact with all the dogs. This was the coolest experience I have ever had!!! The dogs had so much energy and were so ready to take us on an adventure! The owners, Jeff and KatiJo, were so nice and gave us so much information about dog sledding and everything they do to prepare for the big dog sledding races! I 10/10 recommend going to Black Spruce Dog Sledding to get the FULL Alaska experience. And if you’re already from alaska, you should do it too!
This was an AMAZING experience!!! I recommend anyone and everyone to go see Jeff and Katti and all their amazing dogs if you’re in the Fairbanks area!! One of the coolest experiences! They are extremely knowledgeable and truly show their love and passion for their sled dogs and mushing! Definitely a must-do activity!!!
This was such a great family experience! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Alaska! Our kids now all want to adopt a sled dog. We were all so impressed with how much Jeff and Katti clearly love their dogs. We highly recommend a visit to Black Spruce Dog Sledding and look forward to following both Jeff and Katti in the Iditarod!
