It’s real, down home Gulf food. Tasty and filling and great. Seafood gumbo TDF.
Love the Black Pearl! Try to stop by every time I am in Galveston. Yesterday they did seem a little short handed but food was still great as always!

Amazing food and great service! Loved the atmosphere.
Dinner at the Black Pearl Oyster Bar was a treat. Hand made cocktails were made to taste, and the dinner salad was crisp and fresh. My husband enjoyed crawfish etoufee and I had a shrimp salad. The service was prompt and personal. That meal was only one of many I hope to enjoy there.
As always the food was excellent but dang 50 minutes for lunch was not :( we will return because we love it food .

I agree that this is one of the best kept secrets in Galveston. We enjoyed the BBQ shrimp (with the fresh French bread to sop up the flavors even more) and red beans and rice. Their boudain balls was one of the best I've had, not over salty/ spiced. Can't wait to go back and try the shrimp poboy with an overload of shrimp!
