So disappointed. We went this evening to try to have a nice dinner and conversation. ONE table was so loud I couldn't even think, much less have someone ACROSS the table from me hear me. They were yelling and not behaving appropriately for the environment. I spoke to the server. She said they had been cut off and they would be leaving soon. Over 15 minutes pass and I tell her to cancel my food. The manager came over and said our drinks were comped and they would be leaving. They continued to YELL. Oysters on the half shell were very good. Gumbo was as good as you get in a restaurant (shrimp, oysters, sausage). Red beans and rice were just so so. Overall enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
In love with the shrimp cocktail and Boudin balls.
My husband & I just moved to Jamaica Beach,Texas,and the Black Pearl is one of our favorite restaurants. We had the raw oysters and they were awesome!. I recommend the soft shell crab Po Boy and the Pearl Oysters Po Boy. Chris is an awesome bartender. very attentivel. We will go back soon for sure
seafood ceviche. gumbo red beans and rice shrimp cocktail. all delicious.
