Great place, Great Beer, Great Food! Whats not to like? They even have their own followers from all across the country who try to bring down their reviews without ever setting foot in Clawson MI, let alone Black Lotus.
The Black Lotus is a hidden gem! Great food great vibe. The service is stellar. We are here at least once a week (if not more) and the great experience is what keeps us coming back!

Simply the best brewery in Metro Detroit - great food, great atmosphere, out of this world beer.
Seriously good all the way around. I love that the menu caters to different tastes and dietary choices. Plus the beer is delicious! Throw in top live entertainment and this will be your go-to place.
When I moved to Clawson in July of 2016, this was one of the first places I tried. It quickly became my favorite restaurant in town. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are friendly, trivia is fun and challenging, and the bartender even made a special boozy hot chocolate for my mom once when she came in from a freezing downpour.
