Live in one of their flips and it is a total disaster, falling apart immediately. Extremely shoddy work.
Be careful buying properties from Black Lion and owner Jeff Brown. He specializes in fast-pace flips (<2 months) with labor he touts as "a quarter the cost of everyone else". These contractors are under strict incentives to hit time deadlines. Quickly evident the many imperfections and low of quality of materials used. Bought one of his flips in which he remodeled an unfinished basement which then flooded. He blamed the flooding on me for digging a small hole for a fence post in yard. I live in one of the properties owned by this group. It is the absolute worst place I have ever lived. No one manages the property management at their properties. I have called and left messages about the property management not upholding the property standards on the residents and allowing hundreds of unauthorized residents not on the lease crowd this place until there are roaches coming through the walls, no parking, trash everywhere,parties all hours of the night.
