These folks under-bid everyone else by a significant amount. Many of the local AC installers have wait lists that are months long. They were able to get to us much more quickly than everyone else. Although we were not in a hurry on the install, the work was performed quickly after we signed the bid, even though I'd had to wait a few months to get other bids in before making our decision. Black Lion originally installed my furnace. They provide regular annual maintenance for the unit. Brad came to do this yesterday. He was professional. He did a thorough check of the unit and system performance. He helped me decide on an alternate return filter to purchase since they stopped making the one Black Lion had originally recommended for my system. I am a very satisfied customer. Company claims they send money out to people who refer them to new customers. Wrote my brother down as the person who referred me back in feb. And this company has yet to send anything since Feb. Tech guy confirmed that they do a referral program. Ive called twice over the missing referral and the first call i was told id get a call back . Never got a call back. Second call, the guy recognized me and was annoyed off the bat and refused to transfer me to their manager. Said the referals are mailed out and no need to speak abo... read more
I would recommend finding a different company to install your furnace/heat pump. Half a year ago, we had them install a new furnace and heat pump since our old one broke in the middle of winter. In the summer, there was a defective sensor that had to be replaced that was still under warranty. Technician said it would take about 3 business days to arrive. This is where things go poorly.
